Acts 8 What Saul's 'havoc' leads to

Jan 27. Acts 8 – what inspiring stories are in the chapter. One focus is Saul and the trouble he causes in the Church in Jerusalem. The blessing of the trouble is that the apostles scattered ‘widely’ teaching the Gospel in diverse places. Then the focus is on Philip and his success is Samaria (with the experience of Simon the Sorcerer added presumably as a warning against priestcraft) and then Philip’s experience with the eunuch whom may we presume was ‘black’ as he served the Queen of the Ethiopians.
What I glean from this is the reminder that what looks like trouble can lead to good (so don't get so worried, but wait and see what good comes) and that the Gospel is for all – not judging on outward appearances.
